How to Plan for Your Trip?

Every time I plan for my trip, it took me a year ahead for several week's destination trip or several months to plan for a short week's destination trip. Planning for trips isn't always easy as there's so many places that you would want to go but couldn't cram them all into your agenda. Well, there is a way to do it! Let me tell you how I plan my trip!

I am an advance planner; I love to plan things ahead! So, as I plan, the first thing was to decide on a date of when I'll be going and where I want to go. Once I set the date and the destination, I move on to research about the state. Yes, not everyone really cares about that but to me, I love learning the history of the state and the specific place that I'll be going. I think about where my family enjoys and love the most then I set my goal from there.

I usually chose google map as my best friend because there is a lot of places that you just couldn't find anywhere else. Especially since most hidden gem isn't known and you just wouldn't know they existed, and then they became lost. So, once I found my specific place and then I would write down their address and the time opening. The time opening is important as most places either closes early or they don't open on your desired date. After I listed down all of my desired destination that I want to go, I put them in the google map. The maximum you could add in google map is 10. So, if you have over 10 destinations, you could move over to a new tab and go on google map to add in more destination. Once I'm done, I zoom in to look at my desired destination and then move them in their closest destination, that way that I won't have to drive back and forth or up and down the same path several times. That way you will have more opportunity to go to more destination. Once I finished arranging them, I check to see how long and how far these destinations are and typed/write them down. The time frame from Point A to Point B are also extremely important as some destination could take 1/4th of your day. Time is consuming but it's just based on how you managed them.

One thing that I noticed is that when some people are planning to take a long trip, sometimes they think that skipping a gas station is okay. But no, there is some route that would take you hours to reach to the next gas station. When you're off the grid and surround you are trees and woods, you'll notice that finding a gas station near there would be a luck of a draw. So, please make sure to never be low on your gas when you're going on a trip. That could definitely save you a lot of trouble and danger.

I hope you have fun planning your vacation! Whatever you do, please stay safe out there! Every trip is an exciting adventure and it's a world of relaxation and enjoyment. Enjoy every minute spent on your vacation because when you come back home and you look back, they are the good memories!

Thank you for reading! Much love! ♡
